Statewide Community Salmon Fund Deadline: January 13, 2006 Link: http://www.nfwf.org/programs/csf/statewide.cfm The Community Salmon Fund has released a next RFP for a final, statewide CSF round. This round will be open to all areas that ran NFWF/SRFB funded CSF programs this year (including the North Olympic Peninsula), and will disperse approximately $300,000 in additional funds. Details regarding deadlines, maximum grant amounts, and application form are available at http://www.nfwf.org/programs/csf/statewide.cfm. Proposals are due January 13, 2006. The max grant award is $50,000. The match requirement is 50% of requested amount (i.e., $10,000 in cash or in-kind match for a grant request of $20,000). Eligible Projects:
There are no restrictions on the number of proposals an organization can submit (or the number of grants that can be awarded). Groups that have previously applied for or received a grant are welcome to submit projects this round as well. NFWF and SRFB will make the final decision on which projects are funded in March 2006, based on consistency with local lead entity strategy and scores/comments received from the statewide review team. We are still aiming for a project completion date of October 2006 for projects funded this round, although there may be an opportunity to extend the deadline with SRFB. We will keep you updated on the timeline as we continue to work with SRFB this coming spring, and encourage folks to apply even if they think their timeline may run past October.
